TPI Designed Clamping Fixture Close-up

TPI tooling consists of off the shelf standard designed components. The above photo is an example of a fully adjustable X and Y axis alignment fixture system. TPI tooling fixtures and thermal presses are designed to provide quick change of application specific tooling from one product assembly to another.

The photo shows two cell phones placed in a clamping fixture for staking a sheet metal battery floor. The thermal head can easily be interchanged plus the fixture is mounted to a quick change pallet for ease of setup. This provides the ideal setup, with X and Y alignment maintained regardless of the number of times it is changed to run other applications.
